Tandem Skydiving Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum age to skydive?
You need to be 18 to participate in a Tandem or AFF Skydive. You will be required to sign our waiver prior to your skydive. The Waiver is a binding contract and, as such, you must be 18 years old to sign a binding waiver. The waiver surrenders specific legal rights and as a result cannot be signed by someone else on your behalf. We do require that you bring a valid form of photo identification (drivers’ license or passport) with you when you come for your first skydive.
Do I have to book or can I just show up?
Walk-ins are welcome! But give us a call prior to arriving so we can ensure we provide you with the best service possible. Our phone number is (201) 477-0525
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, athletic-type clothing suitable for the weather. Lace-up shoes are required: no boots, heels, flip flops, or open-toe shoes.
What if I have to cancel my tandem skydive?
In the event of weather related cancellations, deposits can be transferred to another date with no penalties. Otherwise deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.
How long will the whole experience take?
You will need a minimum of 2 hours to complete your tandem but due to possible weather conditions you should plan at least half a day to complete your tandem jump.
Can I take a camera or a phone?
Due to safety issues and skydiving regulations, you cannot take any electronic devices with you on the aircraft or skydive. However, we offer the opportunity to have one our professional freefall photographers come with you in freefall to capture your jump.
